Dean Trumbley is a former professional biologist and proud father of five children. Dean grew up in the interior of British Columbia, Canada and started hunting at a young age with his father and grandfather.
Dean is no stranger to the hunting and fishing industry as his grandfather, Smokey Trumbley, was a hunting/fishing celebrity on TV, radio and in the newspapers from 1970-1980s. As a biologist, Dean has conducted over 75 studies as well as worked at the federal and international levels including the Canadian delegation on the United Nation’s Convention of Biological Diversity.
Dean brings a unique skill set to the show as both an accomplished biologist as well as with his diploma in video production from the Toronto Film School.
Kent Michie who was hunting by the age of 10, has a family heritage full of hunters and trappers. Kent pursued his Wildlife & Fisheries degreen on a hockey scholarship he received to North Dakota State University. After graduating, Kent started his 27-year professional guiding career in Canada.
During that time, Kent also used his education to work as a field biologist as well keep himself busy with his taxidermy business. He remains deeply committed to conservation as a long time member of Safari Club International, Canadian Wild Turkey Federation to name a few.
Kent is also a volunteer Fire Fighter in his local community and active as a board member for his local wildlife club. For Kent, hunting is a passionate lifestyle.
